Dr. Hizon attended the UCSD School of Medicine and was Chief Resident in Family Medicine at U.C. Irvine. He is a board certified Family Doctor with a subspeciality in Primary Care Sports Medicine. Dr. Hizon is the medical director of Motion Medical Group. This year as assistant clinical Professor at UC Riverside School of Medicine he was awarded Preceptor of the Years for his mentoring medical students. The last five summers he has been the director of the City of Temecula’s six week long Future Physicians Leadership program for high school and college pre–med students. He has numerous medical publications, poster presentations and books regarding men’s health, sports medicine and medical scribing. He teaches point of care ultrasound with an emphasis on musculoskeletal pain.  He will use ultrasound in a medical mission to Merida, Mexico next week. As director of the Lions International Type II Diabetes program he provides immersion lifestyle/nutrition improvement weekend programs to treat adult type II diabetes by teaching good food choices especially in a food desert.
